Blogger Brunch: Post 390

This past Sunday, I went out for an intimate blogger brunch at Post 390 in Boston's Back Bay with Vanessa {amazing personal chef}, Holly {talented fashion illustrator} and Alana {networker extraordinaire} hosted by the very fabulous Georgina

Georgina and I hosted our friend Alexis Kletjian's fine jewelry launch party together, and she never fails to amaze me with her event planning and decorating skills. She brought adorable bud vases filled with roses and tulips as well as cute tea-light candles to add a little whimsy to our table.

We were visited by Chef de Cuisine Brian Young who explained the menu to us in detail and advised us on what to eat.

The girls started off with oysters on the half shell, biscuits & gravy and a huge charcuterie board fit for a queen! {As a vegetarian who is allergic to shellfish, I couldn't partake in the appetizers, but I had plenty to eat later on in the meal!}

We drank fresh strawberry bellinis, which were perfect for a summer morning, and got lost in conversation about our blogs, businesses and beyond!

all photos to this point were taken by Pedro Cruz

For my meal, I had the pancake special topped with ricotta, homemade whipped cream and pecan brittle. It was delicious and very filling - I only got through about 1/3 of the plate before I was stuffed!

Dessert was my favorite part of brunch. Pastry chef Craig brought us a gorgeous spread including peanut butter and jelly macarons, strawberry almond mousse cake and chocolate beet cake. It was almost too pretty to eat!

I want to sincerely thank everyone at Post 390, including chefs Brian and Craig, for taking such good care of us and making our brunch experience an outstanding one! If you're in Boston's Back Bay and want to enjoy a delicious brunch, lunch or dinner, Post 390 is the place to go! In addition to eating in their dining room and tavern, they also offer private dining and event space. :)
