Paris: Day 4

I'm sorry for the delay in posting the last few days - Ellie and I have been having so much fun that I haven't broken out my laptop at all! Day 4 was our longest and busiest day yet.

We started off the day by having brunch at Les Deux Abeilles, a pretty famous cafe in our arrondissement that serves amazing tea, coffee and pastries. I had the "french toast"...amazing!

Then we were off for a long day of walking and exploring. First stop: L'Arc du Triomphe.

Then a stroll down the Champs Elysees where we peeked in to some amazing stores.

Laduree was definitely my favorite of the day...I love everything about their store!

Next we walked through Les Tuileries and Place de la Concorde...

Until we reached the Louvre!

We stopped at Angelina, a cute cafe near the Louvre famous for their hot chocolate. We were not at all disappointed!

Doesn't this old bookstore on the Rue de Rivoli remind you of Beauty and the Beast?

Although it was raining pretty hard, Notre Dame was still beautiful to behold. For some reason, the observation deck at the top was closed so we couldn't take any photos of the gargoyles.

We then crossed the Seine on the Pont des Arts where lovers put locks on the fences in hopes of getting married someday.

We finished the night with dinner and drinks at a cute outdoor cafe and took the Metro back to our apartment.
