Must-Have Hand Creams

Not sure about you, but I have a minor hand cream obsession. Washing your hands frequently can lead to dry, tight skin, which I absolutely hate, so I always keep hand cream in my handbag and on my desk at work. The following 8 are a combination of some of my personal favorites and also a few I'd love to try. Do you have a favorite hand cream? Let me know in the comments!

1. L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream - $28 for 5.2 oz. This is my absolute favorite - it smells great, feels great and moisturizes super well. It's L'Occitane's highest selling product, so it appears many others agree with me!

2. Lollia 'Calm' Hand Cream - $24 for 4.25 oz. I recently received a sample of this and it has such a nice light relaxing smell in addition to pretty packaging. I'm definitely going to buy the full size.

3. Cake Satin Sugar All-Purpose Treatment Balm - $24 for 2 oz. This is a staple for me - I never leave the house without it in my handbag. It's a balm, not a cream, but it has the highest concentration of shea butter of any product I've tried which makes my skin really soft. It also smells like lemon cookies, so you really can't go wrong!

4. Fresh Brown Sugar Hand Cream - $18.50 for 2.5 oz. I've had a great experience with all of Fresh's brown sugar products, so I know that I would love this hand cream! It's on my 'to try' list.

5. Jurlique Rose Hand Cream - $25 for 1.4 oz. I've used Jurlique's rose facial toner and I absolutely adored the feminine scent. I'm a huge fan of their all natural products, so I'm sure that I'd fall in love with their hand cream as well!

6. L'Occitane Pivoine Delicate Hand Cream - $22 for 2.5 oz. This has the same formula as the first hand cream on my list but smells like peony, which is my favorite flower. Why haven't I tried this yet?!

7. Bliss High Intensity Hand Cream - $18 for 2.5 oz.  This one is rich, creamy and leaves hands feeling silky. My mum is a nurse so she washes her hands hundreds of times a day - I always put this hand cream in her stocking for Christmas to help keep her hands hydrated!

8. Tokyo Milk 'Gin & Rosewater No. 12' Hand Cream - $18 for 2.3 oz. I'm obsessed with Tokyo Milk products and I have their bath bubbles in this scent. It's floral and slightly citrusy - a perfect pick me up. The hand cream is next on my list!

  1. Thank you for the feedback! Always looking for new hand creams! I personally love Paul and Joe handcream... it is light but super moisturizing and scent free which I need at the office because a co-worker is allergic to almost all strong scents!

    1. oh, great suggestion! i didn't even think of including a scent free cream, but you are right - so many people are sensitive to smells so it's important to find a good one without a strong scent!
