Chanel Spring Makeup

I recently picked up a few new products from the Chanel counter at Neiman Marcus for the spring! I wanted to share my finds with you and give you my opinion on each product. :)

Chanel Joues Contrast Powder Blush in Rose Bronze 02 - $43. As you may have read in my post on my favorite makeup products, I don't normally wear blush, but I really wanted to try out a pretty pink blush for the spring! This color is a beautiful golden pink and adds a nice natural flush to my cheeks without adding too much color. The powder is super silky and soft and lasts throughout my entire 9 hour workday! My only complaint is that the brush that comes in the compact is too small, so I need to use one of my own makeup brushes to apply.

Chanel Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Beige Lame 417 - $32. This shadow color is actually from the 2011 Holiday collection, but my Neiman Marcus in Copley still had it in store and I fell in love with it! I think it works just as well for spring as it did for the holidays - the color looks nice on my eyes when I pair it with the blush and they compliment each other well! I don't like very dark eyeshadows because I have big eyes and a lot of eyelid space, so they tend to look kind of, well, trashy on me! But this shadow is a nice light golden brown and has the tiniest flecks of sparkle that catch the light beautifully.  You can sweep on one layer for a light, barely there color, or sweep on multiple layers if you want it to be a bit darker. If you can find this color in your store, I'd definitely recommend buying it!

Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in Amour 166 - $29.50. This is probably my favorite lip gloss that I've tried to date! It lasts for hours and the color is truly beautiful. It's a nice light pink with a hint of coral and just a bit of shimmer.  It's not too sticky and does seem to moisturize my lips while I'm wearing it! There are so many beautiful gloss colors to choose from in this line, but I think that I'll stick with this color for the spring.

Chanel Spring 2012 Le Vernis in May 535 - $25. This is a limited edition color available this spring only, so buy it while you still can! I've gotten so many compliments on this beautiful bubble-gum pink color and I can't stop wearing it! It fits in perfectly with this spring's pastel trend and it really makes me happy whenever I look down at my nails. As with all Chanel polishes, the color lasts for about a week before it starts to chip, so you really do get your money's worth.

Which product is your favorite? Will you be picking up any new Chanel makeup products for the spring?
