Review: UltraLuxe Skincare

Over the past few weeks, I've had the opportunity to try out three different products from UltraLuxe, a high performance luxury skincare line based in LA. UltraLuxe combines high quality ingredients with advanced scientific technologies to deliver products that help treat signs of aging, acne, scarring, discoloration and other skincare issues. I'm excited to be reviewing the products for you today and I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Ultra Luxe Triple Action Organic Scrub for Sensitive Skin - $49. Having recently run out of the exfoliator I had been using once a week, Dermatologica's Microfoliant, I was really excited to try out UltraLuxe's organic exfoliating scrub that promises to deeply cleanse pores, brighten and polish skin. It's specially formulated for sensitive skin like mine and is non-abrasive, so I didn't have to worry about it causing my cystic acne to return. My face has been drier than usual lately and flaking a bit, which never looks cute, so I used this scrub 3x a week for two weeks and saw great results! The dry patches of skin on my face were sloughed off and my skin was left smooth and evenly toned. I would definitely recommend this scrub for those who want to exfoliate without upsetting their sensitive skin!

UltraLuxe-9 Age Control Complex - $185. This potent complex contains 9 anti-aging complexes {3 collagen boosting, 3 antioxidant & 3 wrinkle-smoothing} to diminish the appearance of fine lines, expression lines and deep wrinkles. I thankfully don't have any wrinkles quite yet, so I can't speak to its anti aging power, but I am always looking for products with antioxidants in them to fight aging before it starts. Also, because the sample I got wasn't big enough to last me for two full weeks, I can't tell you if it irritated my cystic acne or not, but what I can tell you that it left my skin super soft, smooth and supple! I also like that it had a light, clean scent that wasn't overpowering. When I do start to see signs of aging, I would love to try out this product again and see how it works for me!

UltraLuxe Complexion Corrector - $78. My biggest skin concern aside from cystic acne, which I have mostly under control, is uneven skin tone due to surgery scars and sun spots. This treatment gently exfoliates the skin to allow newer and more radiant skin to surface, brightening up any scars, age or sun spots. The instructions say to use it every other night before bed on clean skin, which I did, but I think this was actually a bit too frequent for my skin. I would wake up with my skin peeling off, and even when I moisturized, it would continue to peel. I think because my skin is sensitive, I would benefit from using this product once or twice a week max, but every other night was just too much exfoliation for me. It did leave my skin smooth and I do feel like my skin tone was very even after using all 3 of the UltraLuxe products!

Let me know what you think of my experience and if you've ever tried out any UltraLuxe products before in the comments below!

I received these UltraLuxe samples as complimentary, but all opinions are honest and my own.
