What I Wore: Plum Island

I hope you all had a fantastic Labor Day weekend! I've spent the last three days renting an adorable cottage on Plum Island - today is my last vacation day at the beach before I head back to Boston {and reality!} I've been living in this cozy outfit the past few days - comfy shorts with a cute embroidered hem and a lightweight sweater over my scalloped bikini when the temperatures start to drop near sunset. I'm also loving these girly summer espadrilles from Sperry...for some reason I cannot stand wearing flip flops because I find them so uncomfortable, so the Sperrys are the perfect beach alternative for me! I definitely forgo the blow dryer and black eyeliner when I'm at the beach...a messy bun and a bit of lip balm and mascara is all I need. What is your go-to beach look when you want to feel comfy while looking chic?
