Sparkly Vernis Giveaway - I Won!

A couple of weeks ago, I entered an amazing giveaway on Sparkly Vernis's nail polish blog. I was so shocked and excited to find out that I won!! I always enter giveaways and I pretty much never win, so I was thrilled. :)

My loot consisted of the following:

Catrice Iron Mermaiden
China Glaze TMI
China Glaze White Cap
Deborah Lippmann Edge of Glory base color
Essie Bangle Jangle
Essie Carnival
Hot Topic Birthday Glitter
Funky Fingers Kenyan Sunset
L'Oreal Pink Shells
Lynnderella Connect the Dots
Nubar Sugar
OPI I Don't Give a Rotterdam
OPI Siberian Nights
Orly Out of this World
Orly Rococo A-Go-Go
Sally Hansen Barracuda
a 20 oz raspberry violet OPI AVOJUICE

In addition to all of those amazing polishes and the huge bottle of lotion, she sent me 10 other polishes that I was not expecting. Talk about generous! I was blown away.

The first color combo I tried was Essie 'Bangle Jangle' and a bit of Lynnderella 'Connect the Dots' on my ring fingers. I loved the periwinkle color of 'Bangle Jangle' and the 'Connect the Dots' top coat looked like paint splatters - it was so cool! I'd never seen anything like it before.

The second color I tried (and am currently wearing) was Catrice 'Iron Maiden.' It's a cool combination of light purple and green and kind of reminds me of oil! Depending on the light, the polish changes color and is really unique.

So, if you haven't already, you need to check out Sparkly Vernis' blog! She features tons of different polishes and suggests cool ideas for your nails and her photos are professional quality (unlike mine above :) ) She loves to layer, so she comes up with unique color combinations that often include different color tips and gorgeous sparkles. I also like that she uses nail polish brands that I haven't heard of before - she's opening me up to fun new colors and topcoats! :)

Thank you Sparkly Vernis!!!
