{CLOSED} Summer Beauty Roundup & a Vaseline Giveaway

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. I wanted to share some of my current summer beauty favorites, plus offer you TWO giveaways courtesy of Vaseline and Smile Brilliant! Let me know what you think of my summer beauty picks and share your favorites with me in the comments below.

Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Spray Moisturizer - $7.99. Now that it's summer, I like to get to the beach as often as I possibly can on the sunny weekend days! While I'm there, I load up on the sunscreen, but even when I protect my skin it can feel dry and tight after a long day at the beach. Vaseline's aloe spray moisturizer is the perfect solution to hydrating your skin post-sun! I just throw it in my beach bag and spray it all over my body before leaving the beach and getting in my car. It's easy to apply and dries quickly, and contains pure aloe which I've always thought was the best post-sun moisturizer you can put on your skin. I like that it leaves my skin soft without the sticky or greasy feeling that some aloe lotions can have. If you want to win your own bottle of Vaseline, just leave a comment on this blog post with your email address and one lucky winner will be selected!
Good luck!

VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Masks - $58 for a pack of 6. Do you ever feel like no matter how much sleep you get, you still wake up with under eye circles or puffiness? I am definitely one of those people, so when VIIcode reached out to me and asked me to try their under eye masks, I jumped at the chance! The masks come in little packets, and all you need to do to use them is peel off the backing and stick them under your eyes after you wash off your makeup and before you go to sleep - they can stay on for up to 8 hours! I love the immediate cooling sensation I feel when I apply them to my under eyes - there's no burning, stinging or itchiness that some eye products can cause. When I wake up the next morning, my under eye area is soft and puff-free, and I've noticed that my dark circles are starting to lighten up a bit. Hopefully I'll see more results the more I use the product as it's recommended you use it 2-3 times per week and finish 3 boxes for the full effects. :)

True Moringa Lavender Facial Oil - $26. I met the founder of True Moringa at a Boston Blogger event as she's a fellow Bostonian, and when we got to talking and she told me all about her natural skincare line, I knew I had to try it out! She was kind enough to send me her lavender face oil, and it's become part of my nighttime ritual this summer. Not only is lavender the most relaxing scent for me, but the oil is really soothing on my skin, so I love putting it on before bed. It's super moisturizing and my skin feels soft and smooth when I wake up, even after sleeping on it for 8 hours (or more!) Moringa oil is comparable to argan or jojoba oils, but it's naturally rich in cytokinin zeatin, which is known for stimulating cell division, growth, and delaying aging of cells. If it's going to keep me looking younger, can't I just bathe in this stuff?! :) What's even cooler is that True Moringa works with a network of 700 smallholder farmers in Ghana providing sustainable livelihoods through access to credit, agricultural training, nutrition programs, and fair wages. So when you apply this lovely oil to your face, you're also helping out people who need it, which is pretty cool in my book.

Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening System - starts at $120. I am so overdue on writing my review of this product because I've been using it since January, but better late than never, right? {insert embarrassed face emoji here.} I have my own whitening molds that were made for me by my dentist and also had used some whitening syringes that he had given me last year. The results were great, but they made my teeth super sensitive to anything cold, including wintry gusts! I had to stop using it because my teeth would get so uncomfortable. I was excited to try Smile Brilliant because they offer a desensitizing gel as well as the whitening gel, which I hoped would help my poor little teeth feel better, and guess what - it did! Back in the winter, I used the gel once a day and left it on for about an hour, and then applied the desensitizing gel afterwards for 10 minutes. I did this for a week and my teeth were at least 1-2 shades whiter! Now I use the Smile Brilliant gels whenever I feel like my teeth need a bit of brightening, especially when I've been drinking a bit too much red wine. ;) Whitening gels are great to try out in the summer because they go so well with your summer tan! This photo of me was taken just yesterday on my amazing airplane ride {click here for more info on that,} and I'm SO happy with how white my teeth look. You can enter to win your own Smile Brilliant teeth whitening system by clicking here - the winner will be contacted by Smile Brilliant Directly!
