Review: Beauty Box 5 Sassy Sparkles Box

Today I'm reviewing one of Beauty Box 5's limited edition boxes: The Sassy Sparkles Box! For those who aren't familiar, Beauty Box 5 is a monthly subscription service that delivers 5 cosmetic samples to your door for $12/month, but they also offer limited edition boxes with full size products on a first come, first serve basis. The Sassy Sparkles Box costs $39 and includes over $100 worth of product, and it's hands down the best beauty box I've ever received! Keep reading to see what's included and what I thought of the 5 pieces I received. There are still boxes available, so if you think you'll love this one as much as I did, you should grab one before they sell out!

Sparkles & Pop 'Crystal Bib Collar' necklace - $24. I have a ton of necklaces, but I had really been missing a clear crystal statement necklace like this one that can go with anything in my closet. I've already worn it twice and I only received the box last week! It's super sparkly and easy to wear, and looks like it costs much more than $24.

Mirabella 'Sparkle Swirling Pearl' brilliant highlighter - $40. I had never heard of the brand Mirabella before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this highlighter combines shimmering light pink and golden powders is really pretty to use on both your cheeks and eyelids. I've been wearing it both ways since I received it and love the color for my light skin! It's a nice, warm color to use on my lids under my black cat eye and adds the perfect amount of shine, and also looks great swept over my cheekbones on top of my blush.

Mirabella 'Pearls & Pastels' minted colour luxe lip gloss - $26. I have to be honest...when I opened the box and saw that I received a green lip gloss, my first thought was WTF?! I was skeptical to put it on, but I actually have fallen in love with the gloss and have been using it almost daily! The gloss is moisturizing, smooth and smells like mint chocolate chip, which is really refreshing. It doesn't look green on the lips at all, but goes on translucent with light reflecting shimmers that make my lips look a bit plumper than they really are. It's a perfect gloss to wear when you're going with a lighter overall makeup look and want just a hint of shine. I want to see if the brand carries it in any other colors since I like it so much!

Elizabeth Mott 'Smooth Shadow' creamy eye pencil in Penny - $14.99. This was another brand I hadn't heard of before, and a shadow pencil isn't something I typically use, so it was a nice new product for me to try! I like the rich, coppery color and that the pencil can be used as both a liner, as seen in the first line on my hand, or smudged and blended in and used as a shadow, as seen below the first line. It goes on very smoothly which I love and has just the right amount of shimmer. I think the color is flattering for all eye colors and skin tones too which is fabulous!

Elizabeth Mott 'You're So Fine' waterproof liquid eyeliner in Glitterati - $17.99. If I was ever going to love a liquid liner, this would be the one! I'm pretty dedicated to my MAC fluidline gel liner, but this rich black liquid with a hint of sparkle is totally perfect for a night out. I love how dark the black looks on my skin, and the amount of glitter that comes out is just enough to look sparkly without being over the top. {Sorry for the extreme closeup on my hand below, but I really wanted you to see how the liner truly looked!} This is going to be my new go-to for nights out on the town and party looks. :)

What do you think of the products in my BB5 Sassy Sparkles box? Let me know in the comments below!

I received this box from Beauty Box 5 free of charge, but all opinions are honest and my own.
