What I Wore: Little Black Kimono

We've had some uncharacteristically warm days this October, so I've been able to get away with less clothing than I'd normally be wearing at this time of year. I don't mean I'm running around in bikinis or anything - it is New England after all! - but I have been able to hang on to my favorite LBD: a simple silk kimono that I bought years ago. It's comfortable, chic & classy and I love how it can be dressed up or down depending on my mood. Lately I've been wearing it with my Charlotte Olympia kitty flats and gold jewelry, including an amazing fringe cuff I was gifted by Kendra Scott at the rewardStyle NYFW party and a beautiful necklace from Ocie, a new jewelry line out of NYC that features star motifs which is my favorite symbol to wear. {If you look at my outfit photos closely, you've probably noticed I have a shooting star tattoo on my left wrist although it's hidden in these photos! :) } Let me know what you think of my LBK in the comments below.

  7. Are the CO flats comfortable? I was thinking about getting them to wear for my Wedding, but was wondering if they'd be okay to be in for hours.

    1. hi cassie! they took a little bit of breaking in for me. one of my feet is a half size bigger than the other, but i went with a 7.5 because i thought the 8s would be too bit once i wore them. i'm glad i did that, but the first few times i wore them they were a little tight on me. now they're comfortable and i can wear them all day! i would say they run a bit narrow, so if you have wide feet, go up a half size. hopefully that's helpful!
