Style Inspiration: Oscars 2013

Wow, wow, wow! There were so many gorgeous looks on the red carpet at last night's Oscars that it was hard for me to choose my favorites! There were very few looks I disliked - I think everyone looked classy, chic and appropriate for the occasion. I tried to narrow down my top nine looks - let me know which were your favorites in the comments below! Do you agree with my picks or not?

#1: Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture. This is my absolute favorite dress that Jennifer has worn on the red carpet to date. It's so timeless and super flattering on her. I think it'll inspire many wedding gowns for this year, don't you? I also loved her diamond necklace that draped down her back...swoon!

#2: Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta. Amy looks like a princess in this whimsical gown - she looks like she stepped right out of a fairy tale! Sometimes voluminous gowns can swallow small girls up but I don't think that's the case here with Amy at all. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I would kick someone in the shins to wear this dress, especially if it came in blush pink. Perfection.

#3: Kerry Washington in Miu Miu. I am in love with the color of this gown, the embellishment on the top portion and the cute bow at the waist. It's the perfect mix of femininity, glam and simplicity and I think Kerry wears it so well.

#4: Amanda Seyfried in Alexander McQueen. I can't decide what I like best about this look: Amanda's dress, her hair or her makeup. All three blend together to create an effortlessly beautiful red carpet look for Amanda. The keyhole neckline shows just the right amount of skin. Gorgeous!

#5: Maria Menounos in Romona Keveza. I think Maria's dress was definitely the brightest one on the red carpet and I loved it for that! Because the dress has such a simple shape, it doesn't look over the top in this bubblegum pink color. And it hugs Maria's curves sooo perfectly...could she have a better body?! I can't forget to mention how much I love her 60s inspired hair!

#6: Zoe Saldana in Alexis Mabille Couture. Upon first glance this dressed looked simple, but there are so many great details that make it stand out. The tri-layered hemline, the belt with the bow and the sculpted floral top all add unique touches to this dress. Win!

#7: Naomi Watts in Armani Prive. It's pretty obvious that I love this dress because it's sparkly, but what I really love is the interesting cutout at the top. It transforms this dress from a regular sequin gown to something different and special!

#8: Catherine Zeta-Jones in Zuhair Murad. Catherine is the epitome of old Hollywood glitz and glamour in this stunning gold dress. And hold on - how old this woman?! She looks about 30 to me...amazing.

#9: Jennifer Hudson in Roberto Cavalli. I know she lost the weight ages ago, but I still can't get over how fabulous Jennifer Hudson looks!! Blue has been such a hot color lately and Jennifer wears it so well here. I love how she balances out the high slit with long sleeves - it may have been too much if the dress was strapless or had thin straps.

  11. So opposites!! My favorite and classic Hollywood true beauties Oscar stars were Reese, Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Anisten along with Nicole Kidman. None beat Jennifer Garner in a classic Wow choice of a appropriate gown and she is always classic beauitful. I do not like Jennifer Lawrence and thought her dress was so wrong on her and she looked strange for her young age., like a 15 yeear old playing dress up. It was as always fun to watch the dresses. That is what the Oscars are all about

  13. U.K. filmmaker Wayne Daniells from LiarDice Films told me his last trip to The Cannes International Film Festival was a ruthless feeding frenzy. putlocker

  14. All in all Wayne expressed that it was a waste of time and money pitching his film there. I've heard the same opinion from other filmmakers that are frustrated with the film festival scene and no longer see it as a good way to secure movie distribution. altadefinizione
